Le dernier jour du campagne d'enseignement intensif aujourd'hui 18 amis ont participé divisés en 5 équipes les amis sont très enthousiasme pour partager le message de Baha'u'llah dixsept contacts ont entendu la foi dont 2 sont trés proche d'accepté le message de Bahá'u'lláh. Possibilité d'organiser une classe des enfants chez un contact (Marie Ange),

Apres les prieres,son epouse sa fille et lui-meme voulurent savoir plus sur les paroles cachees et les lois bahaies. A une question precise de la fille sur le comportement des jeunes avant le mariage, on arriva a la decision d'etudier la compliation sur et chaque lundi on se reunira chez la famille Totah pour l'etude sur . Ce fut une rencontre tres promettante

Dear Stars,
Our team met today at the Centre at 18:00 hrs. After devotions we plannified our teaching activities for the coming days. At 19:00 hrs, our contact came to the Centre ( 2 other friends were unable to make it). We shared the message of Baha'u'llah with him. Josian joined our team and reinforced the fireside. Our contact asked a lot of questions and he is interested to participate in our activities so much that we invited him to the Ascention of Abdul Baha tomorrow and he agreed to come. He has taken the D card with him. Do join our team in prayers for Baha'u'llah to guide him to accept the Manifestation of God for this Day.

This afternoon 26 November 2008 the Teaching Team, Martha Root, visited Marie Noel at Baie du Tombeau. During the visit we teach her friend Gino who immediately enroll himself under the banner of Bahá'u'lláh. A devotional meeting have been scheduled for the 19 December at Marie Noel's place. We also met two youth who are interested in following Ruhi 1. We also met a young man named Sydney whom we will visit in the following days during the expansion phase

New letter from the Universal House of Justice calls for 41 Regional Baha’i Conferences!

The Universal House of Justice, in a new letter dated 20 October to the Baha’is of the World, has announced plans for 41 regional conferences to occur between November and March. Each of these conferences will be attended by two members of the International Teaching Centre.

This announcement comes 1/2 way through the current 5 Year Plan and will no doubt be a pivotal moment in the development of the Cause of Baha’u'llah! What greater proof of the power of the Baha’i Covenant than this unprecedented series of regional conferences spread all over the globe!

To the Baha'is in the Southern Region

Dearly loved friends,
We continue to receive uplifting and insightful stories and accounts of the
friends striving to share the Message of Baha'u'llah and learning how to
involve the new believers with increasing efficacy in the core activities.

One cluster in Tennessee recently experienced a breakthrough in
enrollments in its current cycle of growth. The Nashville Area cluster has
focused its collective teaching project in a receptive neighborhood whose
residents include Persian Baha'i refugees, residents from Sudan, Peru,
Kosovo and other nationalities. The cluster is blessed with several Baha'is
who travel to the neighborhood and generously offer their services to the
new believers and seekers.
One friend shared her impression about the neighborhood, 'The spirit has
made such a difference. The Persian Baha'i residents walk around this very
open neighborhood and say prayers and connect with their neighbors.'

About a week ago, a Baha'i teacher was in the neighborhood visiting a
newly enrolled Baha'i from Sudan. They were outside enjoying the pleasant
weather. She was reviewing Anna's presentation when one of the neighborhood
boys, Misha'd, ran up to her, poked her in her side and asked, 'Are you
making everyone a Baha'i?' He is a 9-year-old child from Peru and is best
friends with a neighboring Persian Baha'i boy. The teacher was a little
embarrassed by the question, and responded with care, 'I am sharing the
message of the Baha'i Faith with those who are interested in learning about
this new Divine Message'.

Misha'd then asked, 'What is the Baha'i Faith?' He told the teacher
that he too was interested in the Faith and wanted to know more. But the
teacher was in the middle of Anna's presentation and could not respond to
him at that time.

Later in the week on Saturday the Baha'i teacher and another friend met
the sister of one of the new Baha'is as they were walking in the
neighborhood. They took the opportunity to share Anna's presentation with
her. The seeker recognized Baha'u'llah's Station immediately and felt moved
to declare her Faith. Her four children also were registered -- they had
already been coming to the children's classes.

By now it was getting dark and the Baha'i teachers were walking to their
cars. Misha'd ran up to them, poking the teacher in her side again and
asked, 'What is the Baha'i Faith?' Since it was dark the teacher could not
see who he was and asked 'who are you'? He responded that he was the same
one who asked about the Faith last week.

The Baha'is looked at each other and one whispered to the other 'he is
only 9-years-old and we need to get permission from his parents'. They
asked Misha'd when a good time to talk with his parents is and he said 'how
about now?'

So Misha'd ran ahead towards his home with the Baha'is close behind.
Standing outside were his mother, father, 16-year-old sister and four other
siblings. The teachers shared how much their son wanted to learn about the
Baha'i Faith and so everyone went inside the lighted hallway to hear the
presentation. There seemed to be a heightened sense of spirit in that
hallway as the Message was shared. Misha'd helped by reading the quotes.
After sharing the life and suffering of Baha'u'llah the Baha'i teacher
turned to the father and said 'it appears as though Misha'd is attracted to
this Message'. The father nodded in agreement.

After the entire presentation was given, the family recognized
Baha'u'llah's Station and embraced the Faith.

The Baha'is explained further about their duty to educate the children.
They shared, 'that's why we come here - not to educate just our children but
all the children and we need a lot of help to do this.' When finishing the
registration cards for her children, the mother went through them all,
one-by-one, to make sure each child was registered.

The Baha'i teachers went back within 48 hours to confirm their Faith.
The family has received three visits within one week of their declarations.

In this same neighborhood, another new believer, who is Hispanic, has
five daughters who were registered as well. The Baha'is began consolidation
immediately. They started a children's class right outside their door so
the parents could see their children were in the class.

We feel very blessed to learn from the friends who are consecrating
their efforts in sharing the Message of Baha'u'llah, and, who are striving
to create a community of devotion and service in these receptive
neighborhoods.

We are planning to start a study circle in Notre Dame next week
- we continued our opening of expo and hearts to heart teaching and consolidate the new members
prayers needed.
Rest assured that we remember each one of you in our communion with the LORD OF THIS AGE that the fire of love and unity continued to give light to our Cluster . lets us pray for each other that we may sustain our humble effort in the consolidation phase.
let us remember the words of the Beloved House of Justice thats we never let a day pass without giving the remedy to the dying souls everywhere.

Home Visits arean effective way of consolidating new believers.

Our team, accompanied by Sunil visited Rouma of Pailles and gifted her a prayer book. Though she and her husband (both new believers) are hesitant to come to the Bahai Centre at Port-Louis, they have agreed that we visit them again at their residence.

Thereafter, we visited Sunil's Family. We were very happy to meet the members of his joint family and they all welcomed us warmly. We left a prayer book for them and took the oppurtunity to invite his wife and nephew to the Sunday devotionals.

From Martha Root Teaching Team

Ce dimanche 27 septembre l'équipe de Martha Root avec Perle et sa mère Mimi (de Union Rodrigues) ont rendu visite à un ami de Baie du Tombeau.

La rencontre a commencée par une session de prières par tous ceux présents. Après avoir présenté la Foi à Harry ce dernier a voulu embrassé la Cause de Bahá'u'lláh. Aussi présent à cette rencontre deux prejeunes qui sont intéressés à suivre le programme de Pré-jeunes.

Après l'équipe est allée rendre visite à Michelin avec qui on a partagé les bonnes nouvelles du groupement

Teaching Expo this morning before even opening the door of the EXPO HALL we invite a passers -by who was going to work and kindly wait for us to install the Expo and stay for more than 3o minutes to listen and enrol under the banner of Baha'u'llah
2 new member this morning the other friend was wondering how to enter the Centre and as we invite him he voluntarily accepted the new Faith and stay even longer around a cup of tea and having a nice chat .

Closing Ceremony of Ruhi 5 at Pointe aux Piments
This afternoon 21st September 2008 4 friends from Pointe aux Piments namely Sheela - Pachon - Sunitee and Deojeet became graduate of the Ruhi 5. To mark this event a closing ceremony was held where the frineds of the community of Pointe aux Piments were invited. This was a lovely meeting where the partcipants expressed their appreciation for having followed the course. The friends were also encouraged to have a Junior Youth Programme started in this community. The atmosphere was very spiritual and uplifting. News form the Cluster was also shared to the friends and as good news follow the group who is actually doing the Ruhi 2 will completed it next Tuesday and the participants have already aggreed to follow the Ruhi3.

Ruhi 1 at Baie du Tombeau -, Ward 4 and les Salines are being held regularly and the 3 groups have reaches the Unit3 of the book. Each group have also done the act of service associated with the book that is holding of Devotional Meeting

Children Class at La Tour Koenig

The newly children class which stared at La Tour Koenig with Diane as Teacher is going on regularly every Saturday afternoon as from 4pm. About 10 children are attending the class regularly and are following the Furutan Book. Nandita has also volunteered to help as teacher in class.

Ce dimanche matin 'équipe de Martha Root a visité une amie bahá'íe (Nathalie). Ses trois enfants étaient aussi présents. Durant la conversation on a invité les enfants pour la classe des enfants pour samedi prochain. Elles ont répondu favorablement et on espère vivemnet les voir la semaine prochaine.

Selon le plan de consolidation dans l'après-midi on a visité la famille Ah Hang de Sainte Croix. C'est une famille qui recoit regulierement la visite de l'équipe et qui vient à nos coin de feu. Aujourd'hui on les a invité pour suivre le Ruhi1 et ils étaient heureux de suivre le cours. Le cours est prévue pour le jeudi 2 octobre à 6pm. Cette rencontre fut terminée par une session de prières. par tous ceux présent.

Ont participé ce 21/septembre 2008 Pazani - Munirih- Jose- Voahangy.
Les autre membres étaient avec nous en prieres.

Sunshine and Blessing in disguise

So happy to meet my loving brother Antonio again yesterday at the Expo IN CLUSTER 4 , at Belle-Rose Institute the words of ABDUL-BAHA flash in my mind.....
'WHEN A MAN TURN HIS FACE TO GOD HE FOUND SUNSHINE EVERYWHERE ALL MAN ARE HIS BROTHERS'".

No words can explain the feelings and this love of God is the unifying agents who cement the hearts to-gether.

This morning a sad news came from a friend in Teheran , PERSECUTION IS INTENSIFYING , THE ENEMIES ARE MAKING BIG PLAN TO EXTERMINATE THE FAITH SIGNING PETITION AND DOING EVERYTHING FALSE ACCUSATION AS USUAL .

GOD SEE EVERY PLOTTER AND ABOVE ALL IS THE KNOWER AND IS THE BIGGEST PLOTTER (in my words have read it in the holy koran)
BUT above all GOD HAS A PLAN
Sorry about my blogging friends just a mix feeling about the friends in IRAN
Please they have ask our support let us send prayers and waves of love and circle them with our thoughts

Bahiyyih team Reporting



Dear friends,

The Bahiyyih team had a very uplifting home visit with Sheela and Aaina Goorah. The aim was to encourage Aaina to continue with the Ruhi 1 with youth at the port louis centre. Details of the expansion phase and news of successes and new believers were shared with them with joy. The family participated in the prayer circle with tablet Ahmad which is continuing in the consolidation phase. Aaina happily assured us that she will be at the Centre on Saturday to continue with her Ruhi and she will also participate in the devotional organised by the youth group on Sunday. Sheela will organise a devotional at her place on 23 Sept.08.
