Message from AREA TEACHING COMITEE

      Beloved friends Allah’u’abha~!

Just days ago, a milestone was reached in the history of the Bahá’í Faith and of the world. Precisely a century ago, in the early days of the month of September 1910, the beloved Master, ‘Abdu’l-Bahá, quietly left Haifa travel by steamship for the coastal city of Port Said in Egypt. Without fanfare, He had inaugurated the first phase of His epoch-making journeys to the continents of Europe and North America, launching them, historically, from African soil.We are blessed and priviledge to be the first soil that ABDUL-BAHA blessed by its footsteps,……

 How can we beffitingly commemorate this Centenary travels of our Beloved Master than  to meditate on His words,  His Counsels  and to vie with each other in  the Service of The Cause .

~Today there is no greater glory for man than that of service in the cause of the

"Most Great Peace."

Our blessings are many and our opportunities to serve abound! And the spirit which enables us to achieve these objectives is rich and potent!

Blessed and inspired by the powerful Ridván message of the Universal House of Justice and recently the regional conference organized by our National Spiritual Assembly,  our Cluster is responding enthusiastically by implementing the action plan of The Area Teaching Comitee,as we learn to  refine our activities in the Targeted Pocket  and  strive to enhance our learning about the processes of expansion and consolidation;We are amazed at the respond of the friends in the targetted area,taking  ownership of the Children Classes in the community centre, friends the Children feast prepared by them is nothing else than Love ,love for humanity , friends we can  see how the Children Class stood at  the centre of the Community Building and  are  opening doors for many opportunities ,  we look with admiration the three friends who accepted to serve at the community social  work ,We  need help to cater for the demand of this targeted area,volunteer are needed to serve in  other avenue in the community building,. We heartily  congratulate all the friends in Cluster One for their teaching efforts and service to the Cause of God and we look forward  to hear good news  coming from each one of you in your neighbourhood,  we cite this paragragh of the UHJ message send to us recently on the travel’s of the Master,..

…“We should, therefore, reflect not only upon what the Master achieved and set in motion but also on the work that remains undone to which He has summoned us. In the Tablets of the Divine Plan, He expressed His inmost longing:

O that I could travel, even though on foot and in the utmost poverty, to these regions, and, raising the call of "Ya Baha'u'l- Abha" in cities, villages, mountains, deserts and oceans, promote the divine teachings! This, alas, I cannot do. How intensely I deplore it! Please God, ye may achieve it.

CHILDREN FESTIVAL

 With the sounds of the drums  the  Children entertain  the 65guests attending the feast held this saturday 25th September at the Community Centre of Pointe aux Sables, the launching of Spiritual and morality classes  was met favorably with the peoples of the Area and the children class will start this 2nd Oct 2010 at 15.00pm at the Community Centre, we are fortunate to have a few friends in the area well-motivated and ready to serve for the transformation of the community ...
